This infographic poster is about the origins of Kueh Salat and also shows the process of making it. For the colour scheme I chose blue - turquoise colour as its suits the tone of the Pandan custard and the Glutinous rice which is in white and and blue. This infographic poster is illustration based and I enlarged the Kueh Salat together with cup of coffee on top of a table mat that has a traditional Peranakan design to grab the viewers attention.
Before I designed this poster, I did a few sketches to see how I could place all the information into one poster as there were a lot of things needed to be added in and there were lots of research to be done to find out the process of making the kueh, finding out the origins of it and the nutrition value. After doing my research and sketching out some ideas, this is my final outcome. Illustrating every single element was a little hard as there were certain parts that were hard to illustrate but I managed to learn how to illustrate by watching youtube tutorials and had fun in designing this poster.
